Our View

We lookin’ at the world as a whole from space.
But when we lookin’ from a microscope, we see the division.
Every day looks are shot and comments are made.
But to make way through the crowd we got to keep our head high,
We have to not let other people be the judge of ourselves,
But let us be the judges of us.
We have to tell ourselves “you ain’t in charge of me”,
But I am in charge of myself.
I ain’t gonna be treated differently because of my skin color, ethnicity, or by what I can afford.
If you wanna judge me you gotta get to know me.
I am me and that’s how it’s gonna be.
